Mountainbiken

Tschiertschen is a paradise for mountain bikers and a perfect starting point for demanding, very well signposted bike tours.

With the off-road e-bikes, mountain biking becomes a real pleasure for leisurely nature lovers. The "Flitzerli" is available to our guests for their discovery tours through the Tschiertschener mountain world for only CHF 20.00 daily rent.

Mountain hiking

Tschiertschen is the ideal starting point for many beautiful day- and Half-day tours. 


The classic: via Ochsenalp to Arosa


The Mystical: over the Urdensee to the Hörnlihütte


The dreamer: over the Carmennapass and the Weisshorn and Arosa


The surprising one: via Jochalp to Churwalden or Parpan


The varied one: over "Uf Wald" and Molinis to St. Peter


The short one: via Runcs and Untersäss to Prader Alp


Tschiertschen offers a network of paths of 70 km length - free of asphalt Hiking trails, free from flattened landscapes for winter sports, free from disfigurement by permanently installed snow cannons. In short: an intact natural landscape, as one finds it more and more rarely.

Walks

Also walkers do not come in Tschiertschen too briefly. 


The easy walk: Short way to the vantage point Büel with a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Schanfigg. Over the Clüs, the Wässerliweg and the Geissboden to Furgglis. To Fuchsabödali with many benches and a nice barbecue area, back over the Messermatte. 


Families spend two varied hours on the Füxliweg, a discovery trail with many activities.

Long distance hiking

Tschiertschen is the first stop on the most beautiful high-altitude hiking trail Graubünden, the "Schanfigger Höhenweg".

Day 1: from Chur via Meiersboden, Passugg to Tschiertschen.
Day 2: from Tschiertschen via Ochsenalp to Arosa.
Day 3: from Arosa via Medergen, Heimeli in Sapün.
Day 4: from Heimeli over the Strelapass/Weissfluhjoch to Strassberg.
Day 5: from Strassberg via Blackter Fürggli to the Hochwanghütte.
Day 6: from the Hochwanghütte via Maladers to Chur.

Tennis with a view

Probably the most beautiful tennis court in Graubünden is in Tschiertschen, directly behind the Hotel The Alpina. Enjoy a tennis match at 1,350 metres above sea level with a view of the impressive mountain world.

Rackets and balls are also available on loan if required.

Golf

In only a quarter of an hour you can reach the Golf Club Domat/Ems with its 27-hole Golf course at the gates of the alpine town of Chur. The generously laid out Training facility is considered one of the best in Switzerland.


Within a good half hour's drive from The Alpina Mountain Resort & Spa four further well-kept 18-hole golf courses can be reached at once: Golf Club Arosa, Golf Club Lenzerheide, Golf Club Alvaneu and Golf Club Bad Ragaz.
