Four years after its reopening, The Alpina Mountain Resort & Spa has made the leap into the GaultMillau 2020: The innovative gastronomy concept of the Tropaios Lounge convinced the jury and is honoured with 14 GaultMillau points.
In the stylish lounge with ten seats, guests can enjoy so-called "alpinedining" and discover the culinary finesse
and refinement of alpine Bündner cuisine at a high level.

"A Malaysian entrepreneur revived the ailing Alpina in Tschiertschen between Chur and Arosa and turned it into a small but fine resort with spa. The top gastronomy is offered in the paneled "Tropaios Lounge": For example, slightly tart rowan berries provided a harmonious contrast to the delicate saddle of venison with sweet apple and mustard. “The best of Wagyu from local production” turned out to be an entrecôte roasted on point and an excellent rib stew, accompanied by chestnut puree and Swiss Quinoa."
