The former meeting point for local hunters has become now the Tropaios Lounge and is dedicated to the successes of the members of the China Horse Club and their international racing horses. The lounge is a private room and can only be used for special events. Tropaios was named after the former French racing horse that went to Singapore. During the 2013 Longines Gold Cup, the top race of the country, it flew from the last position to first and triumphed in the end. The trophy that is exhibited in the Tropaios Lounge is only one of the many that the Chine Horse Club has won. The growing list of extraordinary feats include the most famous horse race of the world, the British Investec Derby, many more victories of the Club on renowned horse racing place from Australia, Ireland France, Italy, the USA and China.
The meeting place for gourmets is the Restaurant La Belle Époque. The atmosphere is enchanting: the dining room, dating from 1897, has been carefully restored to its old art-nouveau splendour. Here you can linger by candlelight as you savour the delights conjured up by our Chef de Cuisine. Our wine list will surprise and delight even those who are connoisseurs of the “Bündner Herrschaft”. The Restaurant La Belle Époque seats up to 60 guests. Reservation is recommended.
